How it works
Install the module
Install our FoundryVTT module by searching for "Handout Generator" in Foundry's module browser, or download it directly from the FoundryVTT website. Once installed, enable the module in your world settings.
After activation, you'll find the "Handout Generator" button in your Journals tab, giving you instant access to our entire handout library directly within Foundry.
Get your key
Access your unique foundry module key through your profile on the Handout Generator website. Copy this key and enter it on the FoundryVTT module login page to login.
Keep your module key private and secure. Anyone with access to your key can use your premium account features.
Browse the handouts
You can now browse our complete handout library with hundreds of designs, customize any handout to match your campaign's style, and seamlessly import them directly into your FoundryVTT world. No more switching between applications - everything you need is right within Foundry.

Create your handouts

Import handouts
After importing the handout, you'll see it seamlessly integrated into your Journals tab alongside your other campaign materials. The handout maintains all its formatting and becomes a native FoundryVTT journal entry, meaning you can organize it into folders, set player permissions, link it to actors or scenes, and use all of Foundry's built-in journal features.
Import handouts as text
The handout will also be imported as text in the same journal entry next to the visual version. This means if you need to quickly reference specific information during the session, quote a passage in chat, or make minor text edits, you have immediate access to the content without switching between applications or recreating the text.
